It’s time to go back in time and look at the draft history of the Philadelphia 76ers. There have been a number of selections made by this franchise and now is the time to look at some of those moves and see who they could have picked on those specific nights.
The Sixers held the No. 2 pick in the 2010 NBA draft following a tough 2009-10 season. They selected Ohio State’s Evan Turner with that selection after a phenomenal season with the Buckeyes, and Turner turned in a solid career, but in hindsight, there were much better options for Philadelphia in the draft.

To replace Wall, the folks at HoopsHype have the Wizards selecting Paul George with the No. 1 overall pick.
The consensus top prospect from the 2010 draft, John Wall only falls one spot in our re-draft, which in part speaks to how good he was in his prime (he was a five-time All-Star and a one-time 3rd Team All-NBAer), and also how disappointing this class turned out to be, albeit mostly due to injuries. Wall was coming off five straight All-Star seasons when the injury bug bit him, at one point looking like the most explosive point guard in the league.

Wall averaged 18.7 points, 8.9 assists, and 4.2 rebounds in his 11-year career. As mentioned, he got bit by the injury bug late in his career, but he and Bradley Beal formed a formidable offensive duo with the two of them leading the Wizards to the doorstep of the Eastern Conference finals in a couple of different occasions. He would have been a great fit for the Sixers, but they also had just selected Jrue Holiday in the 2009 draft, so Turner was the natural fit.
