Rangers have been drawn against Aberdeen in the semi-finals of the Premier Sports Cup, while rivals Heart of Midlothian and Hibernian will go head-to-head.
The semi-final ties will take place at Hampden Park on the weekend of 31 October-1 November.
Derek McInnes’ side reached the last four with a comprehensive victory over Celtic at Ibrox on Sunday, having last won this competition in the 2023-24 season when they beat Aberdeen 1-0 in the final.
In the other quarter-final matches, Hibernian beat League 1 Ross County 3-0, Hearts beat Stenhousemuir by the same score and Aberdeen knocked out Kilmarnock on penalties.
There has already been an Edinburgh derby this season, with Hearts winning 3-1 at Easter Road in the Scottish Premiership.
