“This league isn’t even about who’s the best team, it’s about who goes out and plays the best,” Adams told Van Pelt. “So we keep that on our minds and go out and work towards a common goal.”

That mentality was evident throughout Monday’s rout. Los Angeles controlled the game and avoided the kind of momentum swings that undermined its opening-week performance. Adams’ veteran presence gives the offense another proven voice as the Rams pursue a Super Bowl run.

Adams has built one of the NFL’s most decorated receiving careers since Green Bay selected him in 2014. He earned five straight Pro Bowl selections and consecutive first-team All-Pro honors with the Packers before joining the Raiders in 2022. That’s where he added another first-team All-Pro campaign. After later playing for the Jets, Adams arrived in Los Angeles in 2026 with more than 1,000 receptions, 12,000 receiving yards, and 110 touchdowns.
