Former Atlanta Falcons edge rusher Azeez Ojulari has found a new NFL shortly after missing out on the Falcons’ 53-man roster. Ojulari has signed with the Las Vegas Raiders’ practice squad.
Ojulari, a former Georgia Bulldog, is most well-known for his stint with the New York Giants. Ojulari posted all 22 of his career NFL sacks with the Giants from 2021-2024. The 6-foot-3, 240-pound linebacker was a second-round pick in the 2021 NFL draft.
Ojulari posted six tackles in three games last season with the Philadelphia Eagles. The pass rusher will look to establish himself with the Raiders as Ojulari looks to make the Raiders’ roster on Sundays this season.
The Raiders still have star pass rusher Maxx Crosby after a trade to the Baltimore Ravens fell through this offseason. Outside of Crosby, the Raiders are looking for another pass rusher to emerge. Ojulari will wear No. 52 with the Raiders and joins Georgia players like tight end Brock Bowers, cornerback Eric Stokes, linebackers Nakobe Dean and Quay Walker in Las Vegas.
