‘Provide daily photo, video proof’ - Atiku challenges Tinubu over Umrah trip

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has challenged President Bola Tinubu to provide daily photo and video evidence of his presence in Saudi Arabia following the announcement of his Umrah trip.

Atiku gave the challenge in a statement by his senior media aide, Phrank Shuaibu, on Wednesday.

This comes shortly after the Presidency announced that Tinubu will depart Abuja for Saudi Arabia on Thursday for Umrah.

Atiku said Nigerians deserve to know the whereabouts of their President at all times.

According to him, Tinubu should not disappear like he did in the past, adding that daily photo and video proof will show that the President is truly in the holy land.

“Provide daily photo, video proof,” Atiku challenges Tinubu after Umrah trip announcement.

As at the time of filing this report, the Presidency has not responded to Atiku’s challenge.
