Inter have added another goalkeeper to their ranks with the signing of Ivan Provedel.
Provedel has signed a three-year contract with the club he supported as a child, joining in a €3m deal from Lazio.
He is expected to compete with Josep Martinez for the number one spot, following Yann Sommer’s departure last week.
Provedel signed for Lazio in August 2022, going on to make 146 appearances in all competitions and keeping 53 clean sheets in that time.

He made 27 Serie A appearances for Lazio last term, though his season was ended early by a shoulder injury he suffered in March.
The 32-year-old underwent surgery, with reports at the time suggesting he might not be back on the field until August, meaning he may not be available for Inter’s season-opener against Monza.
In September 2023, Provedel also scored a header for Lazio in their first group-stage match of the Champions League season, netting a 95th-minute equaliser to draw 1-1 with Atletico Madrid.
It was the second goal of his career, and the second open-play goal scored by a goalkeeper in the competition after Sinan Bolat netted for Standard Liege in 2009 against AZ.
