1. Leeds’ impressive Elland Road record

The Whites are unbeaten in our last eight Premier League home matches, recording four wins and four draws. It is the club’s longest unbeaten run on home soil in the top flight since a 15-match streak between January and December 2001.

Victory or a draw on Saturday would also see Leeds begin a top-flight season unbeaten in their first five home matches for the first time since 2001/02.

2. Calvert-Lewin loves playing at Elland Road

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has scored seven goals in his last seven Premier League appearances at Elland Road.

The striker has also found the net eight times at home in 2026, twice as many as any other Leeds player during that period, with Noah Okafor next on four goals.

3. The Whites’ defensive foundations

Leeds have conceded just eight goals in the opening nine Premier League matches this season, the third-best defensive record in the division.

The side have also been particularly effective at defending set-pieces, conceding just one goal from such situations, the joint-lowest total in the Premier League.

4. Calvert-Lewin leads the pressing charts

The Leeds United forward has applied more high-intensity pressures inside opposition penalty areas than any other player in the Premier League this season, registering 118.

He has also made 75 off-the-ball runs ending inside the penalty area, the third-highest total of any player in the competition.

5. Wilson has a liking for facing Spurs

Harry Wilson has scored four goals in eight Premier League appearances against Tottenham Hotspur, averaging a goal every 67 minutes against Saturday’s opponents.

The Welsh international also scored and provided an assist against Spurs at home in the competition last season while representing Fulham.

6. Muharemović making his mark

Tarik Muharemović has been an influential presence since arriving at Elland Road, leading the Leeds squad for passes attempted with 536 and clearances with 72.

The defender has also registered two assists in his nine Premier League appearances, more than any other Leeds player this season.

7. Ampadu and Justin’s defensive numbers

Ethan Ampadu has made 16 interceptions in the Premier League this season, the highest total in the Leeds squad.

Meanwhile, James Justin leads the Whites for attempted tackles with 24, highlighting the important contributions being made across the defensive unit.

8. A positive result in the previous meeting

The sides last met in May 2026, playing out a 1-1 draw in North London.

After Mathys Tel gave Tottenham the lead shortly after half-time, Calvert-Lewin levelled proceedings in the 74th minute.

Leeds actually finished the contest with a higher expected goals figure (1.35 compared to Spurs’ 1.27) and more shots on target, registering four to Tottenham’s three.

9. Spurs’ shot volume doesn’t always tell the story

Tottenham have registered 148 shots in the Premier League this season, the fourth-highest total in the division.

However, they have an expected goals figure of 11.7 and the lowest expected goals per shot of any team in the competition, at just 0.08.

It means that despite their willingness to shoot, Spurs have struggled to consistently turn those attempts into high-quality opportunities.
