Enyimba captain, Chinedu Ufere, has expressed the team’s determination to win the 2026 President Federation Cup.
The People’s Elephant will take on Gombe United in a Round of 32 fixture on Monday.
Ufere urged his teammates to fight for the title.
The winner of the competition will represent Nigeria in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
“In the Federation Cup, we are playing Gombe United in the next round, and we are going to give everything because we want to take the team back to where it belongs — on the continent,” Ufere told Enyimba Media.
“The Federation Cup is our only chance, and we are not going to take it lightly. We are going all out. Every game is a final.
“And I know that if we can replicate our performance in our last home game in the NPFL when we face Gombe United, we are going to come out victorious.
“In subsequent games, if we show the commitment we displayed in our last game, winning the trophy will not be beyond us.”
