The Portland Thorns announced today the transfer of midfielder Jennie Immethun to Angel City. The 21-year-old was signed on a free transfer and will join the Californian club effectively inmediate.
This follows the end of her contract that was set to expire on July 31.
Immethun joined the Thorns in preseason as a non-roster invitee and her impressive performances then grant her a short-term contract. She made her professional debut against Bay FC and her first start against Racing Louisville. She donned Portland’s jersey a total of four times.
