The Commissioner, who was joined by officials of the Abia State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development and other youth groups, appealed to youths in Abia State to shun political and digital thuggery.

He reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to maintaining a positive and constructive relationship with youths.

Afolabi, who encouraged the young people to see the police as partners, assured them that the police were not their enemies and were not against their progress.

He cautioned Abia youths against engaging in political and digital thuggery and other social vices that could destroy the peace of their communities, urging them instead to channel their energy into productive activities.

He further encouraged physical fitness activities and suggested a Police-Youth Walkathon on the last Saturday of every month.

The suggestion was welcomed by the participants.
