Picking every Big Ten game in college football Week 5

· · 1 min read

Week 5 of the college football season is officially here! And in the Big Ten, that means a full slate of conference games, with eight Big Ten matchups scheduled for this weekend.

So what can we expect to see in the league this week? Here are my Big Ten picks for Week 5:

The Wildcats open their brand new stadium in fitting Northwestern fashion: with a loss.

Will this Michigan game be decided with one second remaining on the clock as well?

Wisconsin might not be terrible after all? On the other hand, it appears as though Michigan State is quite terrible.

Plain and simple, Ohio State is the more talented team by a wide margin.

Forget the end of the season. Will Mike Locksley make it to the end of October?

Illinois looks average. Purdue looks bad. The last time that I checked, average is better than bad.

Lincoln Riley survives to see another day.

The defending national champions improve to 5-0.
