PFIPC scandal: I’m not hiding, only scared for my life – Adeyemi Adeniyi

The self-acclaimed Director-General of the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, PFIPC, Adeyemi Adeniyi, has dismissed the claim that he is hiding from the public.

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today via zoom on Monday, Adeniyi said he is only scared for his life.

Recall that Adeyemi alleged that Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, received N400 million through a proxy and demanded an additional N200 million to secure his appointment.

The presidency on Wednesday refuted the allegation, saying that Gbajabiamila cannot write letters or give appointments.

Meanwhile, the police said they were set to arraign Adeyemi in the Federal High Court on Tuesday.

When asked during the programme why he is hiding, Adeyemi said, “Definitely, I’m ready.

I’m only scared for for my life. “I have it in good authority that my life is in danger.

There are many attempts to my life out there.”
