Penn State TE Ben Brahmer lands on top 2027 NFL Draft prospects list

Brahmer came in at No. 5 on Reid’s list behind other notable Big Ten tight ends, like Oregon‘s Jamari Johnson and DJ Vonnahme from the Iowa Hawkeyes. Brahmer hasn’t accomplished a ton in his career, but all parties involved are hoping his familiarity in the offense and lack of other excellent weapons will embolden him to perform at his peak.

Initially a three-star recruit in high school, the Penn State tight end worked his way up to four stars before hitting the transfer portal to leave Iowa State. He clearly has the talent to be one of the top tight ends in the country, but he’ll need to put everything together in order to fill the big shoes that Reid has fit for him.

Penn State just might have their next star tight end after all.
