81 off 63 balls lights up Edgbaston

Pakistan were in serious trouble in their second innings after being reduced to 0/2 while trying to recover from a huge first-innings deficit. The top order eventually provided some resistance, but it was Razaullah who changed the momentum with a sensational 81 off just 63 deliveries.

The pacer smashed nine sixes and four fours, taking the attack to England’s bowlers and refusing to be intimidated by their pace. His nine sixes also put him alongside New Zealand great Tim Southee for the most sixes by a batter on Test debut.

Pakistan complete disappointing 3-0 series

Pakistan endured a disappointing 3-0 Test series whitewash against England, with the visitors struggling to compete across all three matches. England won the opening Test by an innings and 103 runs before securing a 194-run victory at Lord’s to seal the series. The third Test at Edgbaston saw Pakistan show greater fight, particularly in their second innings, when Shan Masood, Babar Azam and debutant Razaullah helped them recover from a disastrous start. Razaullah’s 81 off 63 balls was a major highlight, but England chased down 130 to win by eight wickets and complete the clean sweep.
