The Atlanta Falcons beat the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Thursday Night Football to kick off Week 4 of the 2026 NFL season. Drake London had 194 receiving yards and Bijan Robinson had 194 rushing yards to go along with two touchdowns.
Robinson’s total is especially impressive when you compare it to the Packers’ rushing attack. Between MarShawn Lloyd, Kaleb Johnson and Jordan Love the Packers were credited with nine carries for a grand total of 17 yards. That’s the team’s lowest rushing total of the century. But it’s not just one game.
This is officially a trend. In the Packers lone win of the season they rushed for 63 yards against the New York Jets in Week 2. The week before they had 66 rushing yards in a loss to the Minnesota Vikings. That’s a total of 146 rushing yards through three weeks. The only teams with fewer rushing yards right now are the Dallas Cowboys (135) and Cleveland Browns (131). Both of those teams have only played two games.

Packers’ historically bad rushing attack
According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, that is the team’s lowest rushing yards total through three weeks since 1933.
For some context, Curly Lambeau coached the ’33 Packers team that started 0-2-1. That team had 182 rushing yards through the first three weeks of the season. They finished the season with a record of 5-7-1 and were the only losing team during the franchise’s first 27 seasons.

The 1949 team that went 2-10 had 615 rushing yards in the first three weeks of the season. Last year’s Packers team that went to the playoffs had twice as many rushing yards (294) through three games. The 2024 team that went 11-6 had 163 yards in Week 1.
Oh, and Kenneth Walker III (173) and Jahmyr Gibbs (156) both rushed for more yards in Week 1 of this season.
