Chimdy Onoh was a four-star prospect when he joined Penn State‘s 2023 recruiting class. The Maryland native was the No. 13 overall offensive lineman prospect in the 2023 class and the No. 4 player from Maryland.
Despite his lofty status as a recruit, Onoh has struggled to crack the lineup at Penn State. He appeared in seven games total during the 2023 and 2024 seasons. Though he appeared in 12 games in 2025, he did not make any starts. He is unlikely to reach the starting lineup in 2026, but he should see rotational time as he did in 2025. The offensive line experienced heavy turnover following the 2025 season, with Anthony Donkoh as the only returning starter.
Only 55 days left until Penn State’s season opener against Marshall!
