Once promising Raiders free agent RB finally finds a landing spot.

Thursday the 49ers announced several additions, including former Raiders RB Zamir White.

White was originally a round four pick (122 overall) by the Raiders in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Georgia. He spent the first four years with the Raiders and was not re-signed by the team this offseason.

After the 2023 season, it looked like the Raiders might have the heir apparent to the departing Josh Jacobs. White finished out the season for the injured Jacobs, averaging 4.7 yards per carry over four games.

But his 2024 season never really got off the ground. After four lackluster starters, he was benched and never earned another shot., seeing action in just 10 games over two seasons since that time.

There’s still a chance that in the right system he could produce. He is hoping the 49ers will offer that system.
