RC Strasbourg Alsace have completed the signing of Omari Kellyman (20) from partner club Chelsea, it was confirmed on Tuesday.
Kellyman joined Chelsea from Aston Villa in a deal worth €22.5m back in 2024. However, he failed to break into the first team. Last season, he was on loan at Cardiff City in League One, where he scored 11 goals in 36 matches. From League One to Ligue 1. Kellyman has completed a permanent move to Strasbourg, who share the same BlueCo owners, in a deal worth a reported €6m.
The Englishman has signed a five-year deal with Le Racing, whilst Chelsea have retained a buyback clause. The versatile forward will be a welcome addition to Hugo Oliveira’s squad. Strasbourg have sold many players in this sector this summer, including Emanuel Emegha, Julio Enciso, and Diego Moreira. Joaquin Panichelli also remains sidelined. Strasbourg failed to score in their Ligue 1 opener, a 4-0 loss to Olympique de Marseille.
