Juventus hosts Rennes in the Europa League, a game that offers them a chance to get back to form, and this is the team announced by Luciano Spalletti.
Juventus team v Rennes
The Bianconeri have struggled with their domestic duties, but there is no doubt that they are having fun in Europe and can continue to do just that.
They have won two of two games in the Europa League, the second of which was away from home against Celta Vigo, so they will be filled with confidence ahead of this match. However, they were beaten at home by Lazio at the weekend, and it is the type of defeat that could weigh anyone down, so this might be a difficult spell for the Bianconeri.
A Chance to Bounce Back
Juve has to do better in the game, but Rennes would not make it easy for them, although their domestic form is similarly not the best so far. However, in Europe, they have not lost any of their Europa League games so far, so it will not be easy for Juve to see them off.
The home crowd will expect a response, and the players know that a win is essential to restore confidence. Rennes’ unbeaten run in Europe makes them a dangerous opponent, and Juventus cannot afford to underestimate them.
What Juventus Must Do
The Bianconeri’s European form has been a bright spot in an otherwise difficult period, and a win against Rennes would build on that momentum. The team must show the same intensity and organisation that has served them well on the continent.
Juventus’s fans will demand a much better performance than the one against Lazio, and the players must rise to the occasion. The match is an opportunity to make a statement, and the club cannot afford to let it slip.
Rennes will be no pushovers, but Juventus have the quality to get a result if they play to their potential. The pressure is on, and the response must come now. The fans expect nothing less.
