During Beckham’s first media availability after returning to New York, he made that comment. The three-time Pro Bowler described the experience as surreal. Beckham Jr. also pointed to time with family and his son as a major reason he felt prepared to return.
Beckham Jr. did not hide his expectations for the next chapter of his career. He immediately pointed to winning a Super Bowl. Beckham said bringing a championship to the Giants was always his objective during his first stint with the franchise. That still remains the priority today.
The Giants have an overloaded wide receiver room, fighting for available slots. But first, Beckham Jr needs to earn his way back into that conversation. Beckham ranks second all-time in franchise history with 5,476 receiving yards. He is still one of the most productive receivers in Giant history.
