OAUSTECH Post-UTME/DE 2026: Cut off mark, Eligibility and Registration Procedures

This is to inform all UTME and Direct Entry candidates who applied for admissions into Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, Ondo State formerly known as  Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH), Okitipupa for the 2026/2027 academic session that registration for POST UTME admissions screening exercise has commenced.

Candidates who made OAUSTECH their first choice of institution and scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME are eligible for POST UTME Screening Exercise. In addition, candidates who chose the University as second choice or did not choose it at all are advised to do a change of institution to OAUSTECH as first choice on JAMB website and Direct Entry candidates should also choose OAUSTECH as their first choice before registering. Candidates must possess five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings, except for Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science and Public Health which must be at One Sitting.

Note: All candidates should upload O’Levels Results ( WAEC, NECO, GCE, and ND, JUPEP,IJMB etc) to JAMB portal.

Candidates are advised to check their eligibility for each programme on the University’s Website before proceeding on registration.

Candidates must be at least 16 years of age by 30th September, 2026 to be eligible for admission.

Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, and Public Health Science

Candidates for Nursing Science should have scored 200 and above in 2026 UTME. They are expected to sit for the Post-UTME on 30th September, 2026.Graduates of School of Nursing who have done Council Examinations could apply for Direct Entry.

Candidates for Medical Laboratory Science should have scored 200 and above in 2026 UTME. They are expected to sit for the PUTME on a date to be announced later

Candidates for Public Health should have scored 180 and above in 2026 UTME. They are expected to sit for the PUTME on a date to be announced later.

Note: Candidates for Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science and Public Health Science must have their ‘O’ Levels Results at one sitting.

Agricultural Economics and Extension, Animal Production and Health, and Crop, Soil and Pest Management Programmes are classified under Agriculture on Jamb portal. Candidates applying into Agriculture on JAMB portal are to choose any of these three Programmes on the University portal.

A sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2000.00) only is to be paid through the procedure below with an ATM card.

1. SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE, FOOD AND NATURAL RESOURCES (SAFNR)

 ‘O’ LEVEL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Agricultural Economics and Extension

Five ‘O’ level credit passes in WAEC/NECO or its equivalent at not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science  and one of Geography, Physics Economics, Animal Husbandry Data Processing, Fisheries. Candidates must have at least a pass in Physics.

English Language, Chemistry, Biology and either Agricultural Science, Mathematics or Physics.

  1. National Diploma (ND) in Agricultural Science with a minimum of Upper Credit or equivalent from Polytechnics or Colleges of Agriculture, or Credit in Agricultural Science-related programme from Colleges of Education (NCE).

  2. GCE (A/L), JUPEB, IJMB or equivalent with passes in at least two subjects from Chemistry and any of Biology or Physics.

‘O’ LEVEL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Fisheries and Aquaculture Technology

Five ‘O’ level credit passes in WAEC/NECO or its equivalent at not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science  and one of Geography, Physics Economics, Animal Husbandry Data Processing, Fisheries. Candidates must have at least a pass in Physics.

English Language, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science, Mathematics or Physics.

  1. National Diploma (ND) in Agricultural Science with a minimum of Lower Credit or equivalent from Polytechnics or Colleges of Agriculture, or Merit in Agricultural Science-related programme from Colleges of Education (NCE).

  2. GCE (A/L), JUPEB, IJMB or equivalent with passes in at least two subjects from Chemistry and any of Biology or Physics.

‘O’ LEVEL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Forestry, Wildlife and Environmental Management

Five ‘O’ level credit passes in WAEC/NECO or its equivalent at not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science  and one of Geography, Physics Economics, Animal Husbandry Data Processing, Fisheries. Candidates must have at least a pass in Physics.

English Language, Chemistry,Biology or Agricultural Science, and Mathematics or Physics.

  1. National Diploma (ND) in Agricultural Science with a minimum of Lower Credit or equivalent from Polytechnics or Colleges of Agriculture, or Merit in Agricultural Science-related programme from Colleges of Education (NCE).

  2. GCE (A/L), JUPEB, IJMB or equivalent with passes in at least two subjects from Chemistry and any of Biology or Physics.

‘O’ LEVEL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  1. National Diploma (ND) in Food Science and Technology or related courses with a minimum of Upper Credit.

  2. GCE (A/L), JUPEB, IJMB, Cambridge result or equivalent with passes in at least two of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biology and Physics/Mathematics.

2. SCHOOL OF NURSING AND ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES (SONAHS)

‘O’ LEVEL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of credit passes in five ‘O’ level subjects at one (1) sitting including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics at  WAEC, GCE and NECO

English Language, Biology  Chemistry and Physics

  1. Candidates must have graduated from School of Nursing or its equivalent and passed Nursing Council Examinations.

  2. JUPEB, IJMB with good passes (10 Points) in the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics

Candidates must have graduated from School of Nursing or its equivalent and passed Nursing Council Examinations.

‘O’ LEVEL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  1. JUPEB, IJMB with good passes (10 Points) in the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics

‘O’ LEVEL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of credit passes in five ‘O’ level subjects at one (1) sitting including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics at  WAEC, GCE and NECO

  1. National Diploma or its equivalent (with a minimum of Upper Credit) or HND Lower Credit in Programmes adjudged relevant by the Department.

  2. JUPEB, IJMB with good passes (10 Points) in the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics

‘O’ LEVEL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of five ‘O’ level credit Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any of Biology, Agricultural Science, Geography, Data Processing.

  1. National Diploma (with a minimum of Upper Credit) or equivalent in Geology, Geophysics, Mineral Mining Engineering or any other course adjudged relevant by the Department.

  2. GCE (A/L), JUPEB, IJMB or equivalent with two passes in the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics

‘O’ LEVEL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of five ‘O’ level credit Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any of Biology, Agricultural Science, Geography, Data Processing.

English Language, Chemistry, Physics and Biology or Agriculture, or Geography

  1. Candidates from Polytechnic or any other recognized institution with Science related programmes must possess a minimum of Upper Credit at any level of the programme (i.e ND, HND NCE)

  2. Two ‘A’ level passes in GCE, JUPEB, IJMB in Biology and any other subject from Chemistry and Physics.

‘O’ LEVEL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of five ‘O’ level credit Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any of Biology, Agricultural Science, Geography, Data Processing.
