NY Mets announce lineup vs San Diego Padres for today's game

It was a strong start for the Mets in San Diego.

Behind a strong outing from Christian Scott, Jared Young’s third home run in six games and Luis Torrens’ first blast of the season, the Mets scored a 5-0 win over the Padres in the series opener on Friday.

It was the Mets’ third shutout victory of the season.
