The story centers around three lazy engineering backbenchers—Koobrin (Bharath), Tharun (Tovino Thomas), and Ram (Sunny Wayne). They meet in college and bond over skipping classes, failing exams, and living a careless life. After getting into a big fight at a college festival, all three get kicked out of college without completing their degrees. Facing a harsh reality, they try to start an IT company called "Yellowtooth," but because they have no experience, the business fails and leaves them in huge debt.
Desperate for a way out, the three friends meet an eccentric local fisherman named Ustaad Saali (Mohanlal) at a bar, who claims to be a cursed merman. He convinces them to buy an old, dangerous fishing boat named AK47 to enter the deep-sea fishing trade. But when they set sail, a violent ocean storm hits, trapping them at sea where they must fight for their lives. Forced to survive against impossible odds, the three friends find their inner strength and overcome the ocean's fury.
