The story centers on Tarun Awasthi (J. D. Chakravarthy), an analytical architect who moves his family—wife Namrata (Manisha Koirala), 10-year-old son Taman (Kushank Thacker), and 6-year-old daughter Nimmi (Alayana Sharma)—into a grand, secluded luxury bungalow. Chaos begins when little Nimmi discovers an old doll and starts spending all her time talking to an invisible entity she calls "Shabbu". While her parents brush it off as a lonely child’s wild imagination, their observant servant Laxman (Nitin Jadhav) senses a demonic energy lurking in the walls.
When Tarun’s sister Pooja (Madhu Shalini) arrives, the atmospheric horror escalates. Midnight knocks, shifting furniture, and terrifying sounds plague the house, leading a suspicious Pooja to install hidden wireless cameras. The captured footage reveals a bone-chilling sight: Nimmi playing with a floating ghostly apparition. Before the panicked family can flee, the house locks down. Laxman and Taman are brutally murdered, and an innocent Nimmi becomes fully possessed by the murderous spirit of Shabbu.
