Shooting Stars have announced the appointment of Salisu Yusuf as their new technical adviser, DAILY POST reports.
Yusuf replaced Nurudeen Aweroro who left the club last week.
The experienced tactician arrives at the Oluyole Warriors with an impressive coaching pedigree spanning over two decades.
Yusuf worked with several of Nigeria’s leading clubs, including Kano Pillars, Rangers International and Enyimba, and was most recently with Coton Sport in Benin.
He also served as assistant coach of the Super Eagles and has handled the Super Eagles B and Nigeria U-23 teams.
In 2018, he guided the home-based Super Eagles to the final of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco.
Yusuf is expected to bring strong leadership, tactical expertise and a winning mentality to the Oluyole Warriors as they pursue their ambition across domestic and continental competitions.
Shooting Stars will face newly promoted side Inter Lagos in their opening fixture of the new season.
