The winner of the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, will earn a mouth- watering N1 billion prize money, DAILY POST reports.
As part of the new incentives announced by the National Sports Commission, NSC, the runners-up will earn N800 million, while the third-placed team will receive N700 million.
Teams finishing further down the table will also receive financial rewards based on their final positions.
A minimum monthly salary of N2 million for NPFL players has also been approved by the NSC
Enugu Rangers received N150 million for winning the NPFL title last season.
