NPFL: Maidubji set to sign new contract with Barau FC

Usman Maidubji is set for a contract extension with Barau FC ahead of the 2026-27 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, season.

Maidubji is determined to remain with the Maliya Boys for the new season despite interest from other clubs.

The midfielder was one of the standout performers for Barau FC in their debut campaign in the NPFL last season.

Maidubji’s high-intensity performances and ability to shield the defence helped Barau FC stabilise after a difficult start.

The talented midfielder previously played for Kano Pillars and Plateau United.

He is one of the long-serving players at Barau FC.
