NPFL: Ikorodu City promote youngster to senior team

Ikechukwu Junior has signed his first professional contract with Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Ikorodu City.

Junior put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Oga Boys.

He becomes the latest academy graduate to be handed a senior deal as Ikorodu City continue their youth development.

Junior was one of the standout performers with the Ikorodu City Academy in the Nationwide League One, NLO, last season.

He helped Ikorodu City gain promotion to the Nigeria National League, NLO.

Junior will team up with the rest of the squad for pre-season training in readiness for the 2026-27 campaign.
