NPFL: Coach Olutayo unhappy with Inter Lagos' performance against Ranchers Bees

Inter Lagos interim coach, Olusanjo Olutayo, admitted his team failed to live up to expectations against Ranchers Bees.

Inter Lagos played out a 1-1 draw against Ranchers Bees in a matchday 11 fixture at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan on Sunday.

Olutayo said that the visitors were better than his team in the encounter.

Quyum Akinpelu and Oscar Gabriel scored for both teams.

“All things being equal, Ranchers Bees should have beaten us, they created more chances than us and they pressed higher than us,” Olutayo told Sporting Theory.

Olutayo said that his players failed to perform to expectations in the game.

“My players failed to recollect everything that has been taught in preparation for the game.”

The young tactician assured that they will work on the lapses ahead of their next league game against Ikorodu City.
