Barau FC striker, Joseph Atule, has revealed that the team’s target is to win the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, title.
Atule believes the Kano club has the quality needed to achieve the feat.
The Maliya Boys opened their campaign with a 3-1 win over Nasarawa United at the Sani Abacha Stadium last week.
Atule opened the scoring for Barau FC in the game.
“Our target is going strictly for the trophy,” Atule told DAILY POST.
“I believe we have the quality of players we need and good management that always supports us and motivates us in any way they can.”
Barau FC will trade tackles with Kun Khalifat FC in a matchday two fixture in Owerri on Sunday (today).
