The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, have fixed a new date for matchday two fixture between Sporting Lagos and Ikorodu City.
The Lagos derby originally scheduled for Sunday, 6, September at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan will now be played on Wednesday, September 30.
The fixture was postponed due to planned political events billed for the venue on the matchday.
The NPFL said full matchday details including kickoff time and venue confirmation will be shared in due course.
The development ends the uncertainty for fans of both teams, who were looking forward to the derby as an early test in the new campaign.
Sporting Lagos lost 2-0 to Doma United in their opening fixture, while Ikorodu City lost 3-1 against Ranchers Bees.
