When Notre Dame traveled to New York for its annual media blitz, the trip felt a little lighter than usual. I was expecting a ridiculous hot take or two that we can put in the back of our memory and then onto a College Gameday sign.
Maybe that take just surfaced?
Eater took CJ Carr and Marcus Freeman out to lunch and treated them both to an incredible array of food that included:
- Steak with ravioli.
- Spicy brussels sprouts.
- Spicy lobster mac.
While dining on some incredible looking dishes, the two were asked to debate Easy Mac vs Uncrustables vs Ramen. CJ Carr talked about his athleticism coming from the witchcraft food known as Hopin’ John. They were also asked about their favorite concession food, and someone is one of the nation’s ELITE eaters of Chipotle.
