Week 4 action is set to get underway across Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana with some of the most intriguing matchups in Greater Cincinnati.
Highlands squares off with Boyle County in a showdown of top-ranked teams. Boyle County is undefeated and the No. 1 team in Class 4A, while 4A No. 4 Highlands has looked dominant since a season-opening loss to 6A No. 2 Frederick Douglass. The Bluebirds haven’t beaten the Rebels since 2012, but the Rebels are down a key player in Oklahoma-committed tight end Seneca Driver.
Beechwood coach Noel Rash can pick up his 200th win as the Tigers travel to Simon Kenton. The Tigers have been on a roll in their first two games of the season, beating Indian Hill and Dixie Heights by a combined 83-3 margin. Simon Kenton is looking to bounce back from a tough loss at Covington Catholic, but put up big offensive numbers in their two wins.
Indiana 4A title contender East Central looks to recover after taking a licking from Elder last week, playing host to undefeated Franklin County. The Trojans put up strong in-state results to start the year, shutting out rival Lawrenceburg and knocking off 5A top-ranked New Palestine on the road.
