The Colonels will take on Elder, which defeated 2025 OHSAA state semifinalists Middletown 35-3 last week.

Meanwhile, preseason Class 4A No. 6 Highlands looks to bounce back following a late-game collapse against Frederick Douglass with a contest against Cooper, which beat Christian County. The Bluebirds lead the head-to-head against the Jaguars 8-5.
