Nick Chubb to sign a one-day contract, retire a Cleveland Brown

The Cleveland Browns and Nick Chubb have one last run in them, at least for a day.

Back in August, former Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb announced on social media that he was retiring from the NFL. Fast forward to the present, Chubb is signing a one-day contract with the franchise that drafted him and will retire a Brown.

When he retired, his statement on social media read, “Today’s the day I’ve been avoiding for a while. Twelve year old me could never imagine this day, and 30 year old me is wondering where all the time has gone. I’ve known for some time now, but I’m finally ready to share that I’m done playing football. . .Till the day I die, it will always be: GO DAWGS. GO BROWNS!!!”

Nick Chubb will return to the #Browns tomorrow to sign a one-day contract and officially retire a Cleveland Brown, per JW Johnson, Managing Partner and Executive Vice President of Haslam Sports Group.
