New York Giants work out LB Anfernee Orji, others

The New York Giants are holding a tryout on the first day of mandatory minicamp, which includes linebacker Anfernee Orji.

Orji most recently appeared in a game for the New Orleans Saints in 2024, as the linebacker suffered a torn ACL before Week 1 of the 2025 campaign. He was with the Tennessee Titans last season when the injury occurred, but the talented linebacker was unable to play at any point in the regular season following the injury. 

The linebacker recorded 30 total tackles and two tackles for a loss while appearing in 16 games with the Saints two seasons ago, and Orji could quickly begin to fight his way towards a roster spot with a strong performance throughout training camp should he sign.

It has not been revealed who else was working out for the Giants on Monday.
