A’ja Wilson brought full-contact energy before the tip-off even happened for the Las Vegas Aces.
A’ja Wilson capped off the regular season with absolute dominance, pouring in 34 points and grabbing 10 boards to push the Las Vegas Aces past the Phoenix Mercury in a 100-82 blowout. She was nearly unstoppable, going 16-of-28 from the floor while pacing a 65-point first-half blitz.
The win locked up the No. 3 seed for Las Vegas, setting the stage for a quick postseason rematch right back against Phoenix in round one.
However, it was an incident before the match that really caught the attention online.

Before the game even started, A’ja Wilson gave social media its most unexpected highlight of the night. A clip of the Aces star accidentally steamrolling a worker hidden behind the entrance curtain went viral instantly, with fans losing it over the pre-game tunnel collision.
Wilson freezes in her tracks with a shocked face, almost lost for words, before running onto the court with the rest of her teammates. Someone is heard asking ‘are you okay?’ but it’s not clear who it was.
The original clip now has over 2 million views and it’s safe to say that the replies are rather comical, with WNBA fans from all over giving their two pence.
One fan joked: “Didn’t have her feet set. Ball stays here.”
‘The woman accidentally ran in to her. Like clearly they coming out the curtains, why would she try to walk by…’ Another fan couldn’t believe what he was seeing.
This supporter added: “Never seen this happen in the NBA.”
“Turns out the tunnel has its own traffic laws, and A’ja just found out the hard way.” This fan saw the funny side of it.
Another fan joined in on the humour: “Gotta look both ways before crossing the street.”
Typical of the WNBA, the season delivered yet another unscripted moment you couldn’t predict, reminding fans that the league’s off-court chaos is always purely golden.
