It’s been a wild off season. Lord knows how many lawsuits there are still taking place. And last night was the perhaps culmination of another one in which LSU tried rostering former NFL players. LSU and Lane Kiffin blinked.

Matt Rule said it’s his best team at Nebraska. We seem to have a lot of depth .We’re old now. We’ve replaced coaches.

Huskers Adjust Beverage Policy in Preparations for High Temperatures

In anticipation of higher temperatures for Saturday’s home opener against Ohio, Nebraska Athletics will make an exception to its food and beverage policy. Fans will be allowed to bring one sealed bottle of water into Memorial Stadium. As always, Memorial Stadium policy allows personal empty water bottles inside the stadium for fans to be able to refill at the water fountains inside.  

Fans are encouraged have a plan in place to stay hydrated. Memorial Stadium has medical staff on-site for all home games. If you become overwhelmed by heat, please reach out to the nearest stadium official or event staff member for assistance.

Weather: As is often the case in late August-early September games, it will be a steamer. Dress cool, use sunblock and drink plenty of water. it will be mostly sunny with temps around 87 at kickoff and rising to 92 or 93 by games’ end. The winds won’t help much and are expected to be around 6-7mph out of the SSE.
