Nebraska football is hosting a surprise visitor this weekend. Class of 2027 five-star tight end and LSU commit, Ahmad Hudson, is in Lincoln this weekend for a visit.
Hudson is currently ranked No. 16 nationally, the top tight end in his class, and the fourth overall player in his class from the state of Louisiana, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings.
He initially committed to the Tigers on May 3, putting a halt to Nebraska’s pursuit. Now, it seems as though the Huskers may still very much be in play.
This will certainly be interesting to follow over the next couple of months. The Huskers are still very much involved here.
Hudson still wants to play basketball, and that could be a deciding factor in his recruitment. This recruitment could drag on a bit longer than anticipated, despite his initial commitment.
