Nathan MacKinnon left bloody after big fight with Roope Hintz

Colorado Avalanche superstar Nathan MacKinnon is one of the best players in the NHL. He also hasn’t been afraid to drop the gloves this season − though his latest fight left him worse for wear.

MacKinnon was left covered in blood after the Dallas Stars‘ Roope Hintz popped his nose quite good in a heated scrap during Tuesday night’s game between the two Central Division rivals.

The incident occurred at the 13:14 mark of the second period and MacKinnon had to go back to the locker room for some repairs while Hintz was seen icing his knuckles in the penalty box.

In true hockey fashion, MacKinnon returned from the back at the 6-minute mark of the second period.

The 2023-24 NHL MVP is off to another strong start, with five goals and seven assists in six games to date. And now two fights.
