The wait is over for Nate Ament and the NBA Summer League.

Tennessee basketball’s highest pick in this year’s NBA draft will make his debut when the Milwaukee Bucks open play July 10 (4 p.m. ET, Prime Video) against the Miami Heat, the same franchise that briefly held his draft rights.

The Bucks announced Ament signed his rookie contract on July 9. It’s a four-year, $25,986,332 deal with the first two seasons guaranteed and separate team options for years three and four, according to Spotrac. He’ll earn $5,502,000 in the first season.
