Multiple reports: Köln reject Dortmund's latest El Mala bid

1. FC Köln have rejected Borussia Dortmund’s latest bid for Said El Mala, according to two local reports.

Sky Germany reported on Thursday that BVB had launched a fresh bid for the 19-year-old worth a total of €55 million.

The offer involved a fixed fee of less than €50 million, but it could have reached around that figure through “realistically achievable bonuses,” the German broadcaster reported.

Apparently, that wasn’t enough to convince Köln to sell their prized asset, with both GEISSBLOG and Express reporting that the Billy Goats have turned down Dortmund’s offer.

Köln are sticking to their position that they want to secure a guaranteed fee of at least €50 million.
