MSU football to host in-state 3-star WR prospect this weekend

An in-state three-star wide receiver with a power four offer already in-hand will be visiting Michigan State this upcoming weekend.

Jace Cummings of Grand Rapids, Mich. will visit Michigan State this upcoming weekend for the Spartans‘ home game against Nebraska. Cummings posted on his social media X account on Thursday to confirm he’ll be in attendance for the Spartans-Cornhuskers matchup.

Cummings is listed as a three-star wide receiver prospect, with a recruiting rating of 84 on Rivals. He ranks as the No. 315 wide receiver prospect in the 2027 class, and is No. 39 among players from Michigan in the class.

Michigan State has not yet extended an offer to Cummings, but he has received a handful of offers already from FBS schools. According to 247Sports, he holds offers from Boston College, Kent State and Western Michigan. Western Illinois of the FCS level has also offered him, according to On3.
