MSU football QB Alessio Milivojevic throws out first pitch at MLB game

Michigan State starting quarterback Alessio Milivojevic was throwing a different kind of ball on Sunday afternoon.

Milivojevic thew out the ceremonial first pitch at the Chicago White Sox game against the Athletics on Sunday afternoon. Milivojevic is from Wheaton, Ill. so I’m sure this was a pretty cool event for him to be part of with the White Sox being one of the two MLB teams from his home state.

Milivojevic is set to be the Spartans starting quarterback this upcoming season, with new head coach Pat Fitzgerald already naming him the starter out of spring practice. Milivojevic finished last season as the starter for the Spartans, taking over for Aidan Chiles across the final four games of the season. He ended the season throwing for 1,267 yards and 10 touchdowns compared to only three interceptions.
