MSU DC Joe Rossi talks state of defense heading into Wisconsin

Michigan State football has dropped two games in a row and are traveling to Madison to look to put an end to this early season skid. A big part in winning this game against Wisconsin will lie upon the defense’s shoulders.

The defensive unit for Michigan State is coming into the game wobbled, though, suffering a plethora of injuries ahead of the matchup. The Spartans will be without at least three cornerbacks, while one other is questionable, and four of the Spartans linebacking core is questionable for the game in Madison.

All of these factors put a lot of pressure on MSU defensive coordinator Joe Rossi, who feels that pressure heading into the Wisconsin matchup. Rossi spoke to the media about the state of his unit on Wednesday:
