Mourinho and Florentino Perez have a clear strategy for highly-rated midfield gem amid PSG and Arsenal interest

According to a recent report from Defensa Central, it has come to light that Real Madrid have no intention of selling Arda Guler this summer, regardless of how much money is offered for the Turkish midfielder.

The report claims that Jose Mourinho and Florentino Perez have already held discussions about Guler’s future and reached a clear agreement. 

It was established during the discussion that the 21-year-old is considered untouchable within the club’s long-term project, with Real Madrid prepared to reject offers worth up to €100 million.

The decision comes amid growing interest from across Europe, with clubs monitoring Guler’s situation after his impressive performances over the past year.

After showing flashes of his immense talent last season, where he played 51 matches across all competitions, the Turkish international has started attracting serious attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

It is said that both Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal are among the teams keeping a close eye on his situation and would be willing to invest heavily if Real Madrid ever opened the door to negotiations.

Some reports have even suggested that potential offers could approach the €100 million mark. However, Real Madrid’s position appears firm.

The club view him as one of the most gifted young players in world football and believe his value to the project goes far beyond any transfer fee that could arrive this summer.

As a result, Perez and the sporting leadership have no interest in listening to proposals, regardless of the figures involved.

One of the biggest talking points following Mourinho’s arrival was how the Portuguese manager would use Guler.

The midfielder thrived during the latter stages of last season when given greater responsibility, but there was uncertainty about whether he would enjoy the same importance under a new coach.

However, Mourinho has quickly removed those doubts. 

In fact, as reported before, the new manager sees Guler as a player capable of becoming one of the creative leaders of the team and has already outlined a specific role for him.

Hence, Real Madrid are prepared to reject any offer that would come for the young sensation this summer.
