AS Monaco have rejected a Paris Saint-Germain bid for Maghnes Akliouche (24) worth €35m, according to a report from L’Équipe.
Akliouche is set to leave his formative club this summer. He was touted to leave last summer, but the price tag set by the Principality club proved prohibitive. Monaco, however, won’t stand in his way this summer.
It has been reported that, despite interest from the Premier League, it is PSG who lead the race to sign the France international. RMC Sport reported on Monday that Akliouche had agreed personal terms with the reigning European champions.
Talks between clubs have begun, but an agreement has yet to be found. A bid worth €35m has been rejected by the Principality club, L’Équipe now report. Last summer, Les Monégasques valued their academy product at €70m. He has since become a France international and is currently in North America participating at the FIFA World Cup.
