MobLand's Harrigan Family Tree Explained

Guy Ritchie’s returning crime drama series MobLand follows the exploits of an Irish crime family, the Harrigans, that runs drugs and guns in modern-day London. With an outstanding ensemble of actors led by Tom Hardy, MobLand weaves classic organized crime drama together with the crisp storytelling style of Ritchie’s best movies, and next-level action to tell the story of the family’s struggle not only to expand their criminal empire, but to survive the wrath of all those they cross. Their enterprise is founded upon the common gangland principles of loyalty, family, self-defense and overall ruthlessness in matters of business.

Brought to life by MobLand‘s stellar cast, the Harrigan family is constructed in fairly typical fashion, with a patriarch and matriarch from which all decisions flow from. The upper Harrigan hierarchy is somewhat unsettled, as the final decision-making power seems to fluctuate between Conrad (Pierce Brosnan), Maeve (Helen Mirren), and their respective children from minute to minute.

Each member of the family has their own ambitions and goals, but they all work towards the ultimate goal of keeping and expanding the Harrigan empire’s influence over the city and people of London, and staying safe from the many enemies they create. With the family’s latest plans already unfolding in MobLand season 2, and new figures pulled into their orbit, the Harrigans are continually growing.

Conrad Harrigan

The Patriarch Of The London-Based Harrigan Family

    &lt;<img src="https://static0.srcdn.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/screenrant-sandbox-2025-03-29t202227-902.jpg?q=49&fit=crop&w=825&dpr=2" />

Conrad Harrigan is the patriarch and ultimate authority figure for the Harrigan family. His three children answer directly to him on all business matters, and he serves as the mastermind behind virtually all the Harrigan crime organization’s significant moves. He does seem to be indecisive and erratic at times, and in those moments he leans on his wife Maeve to act as a steadying presence.

He is the father to Kevin, Brendan, and Seraphina Harrigan. While it initially appeared that Conrad was also Eddie Harrigan’s grandfather, Eddie is actually Conrad’s son, since he had an affair with Kevin’s wife, Bella, before she got together with Kevin.

Conrad’s level of self-control seems to be hit-or-miss depending on the situation, as he can be cold and calculating or excitable and violent depending on the situation. Because he is the unquestioned leader of the Harrigan family (as far as his children know), that unpredictability proves to be a source of stress and antagonization at times, and creates additional tension across the family.

Maeve Harrigan

The Matriarch Of The Harrigan Family And Conrad’s Wife

    &lt;<img src="https://static0.srcdn.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/helen-mirren-holding-a-glass-martini-in-mobland.jpg?q=49&fit=crop&w=825&dpr=2" />

Maeve Harrigan is the matriarch of the Harrigan family, and the wife of Conrad. She has more influence over the family than many seem to realize, as behind closed doors she pulls Conrad’s strings in major business maneuvers. She is often seen with a drink in her hand, yet she seems to be the person with the most confidence and authority in any room she’s in. Maeve is the mother of at least Kevin and Brendan Harrigan, and therefore, ostensibly, the de-facto grandmother of Eddie Harrigan, if not by blood.

However, she refers to Conrad’s daughter Seraphina as a “mistake” from another relationship in Conrad’s life, and the two women hold a permanent grudge against each other. The vitriolic animosity that Maeve directs at Seraphina makes it fairly clear that there is more at play than simply a child from another marriage.

Kevin Harrigan

Conrad’s Son And Bella’s Husband

    &lt;<img src="https://static0.srcdn.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/screenrant-sandbox-2025-05-26t223536-404-1.jpg?q=49&fit=crop&w=825&dpr=2" />

The younger of Conrad and Maeve’s two sons, Kevin Harrigan is the husband of Bella Harrigan, brother to Brendan Harrigan and half-brother to Seraphina Harrigan. He also begins the show believing that he’s the father of Eddie Harrigan, Bella’s son. While Kevin is loyal to his family and benefits from its criminal enterprise, he does not necessarily carry a vicious, ruthless streak like his parents or their hired fixer, Harry Da Souza. Played by Paddy Considine, he’s a steadier individual than his more erratic father and wild, rebellious son.

Bella Harrigan

Kevin’s Wife And Eddie’s Mother

    &lt;<img src="https://static0.srcdn.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/screenrant-sandbox-2025-03-29t203230-371.jpg?q=49&fit=crop&w=825&dpr=2" />

Bella Harrigan (Lara Pulver) is the wife of Kevin and mother of Eddie, making her Conrad and Maeve’s daughter-in-law. It turns out that she came into contact with the Harrigan family by having an affair with Conrad, who is Eddie’s real father. Bella was then introduced to Kevin, and they fell in love.

She is not as active in the day-to-day criminal enterprise of the family, but she is an important member of the family nonetheless, thanks to her relative level-headedness. Bella’s own family background is more prestigious than that of her husband, since her father is the (fictional) British political figure Lord Pennock.

Eddie Harrigan

Bella’s Volatile Son Raised With Kevin

    &lt;<img src="https://static0.srcdn.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/screenrant-sandbox-2025-03-29t203639-782.jpg?q=49&fit=crop&w=825&dpr=2" />
    </figure>

Eddie Harrigan is the son of Bella Harrigan, resulting from her affair with Conrad. However, he was raised as the son of Kevin, and the grandson of Conrad and Maeve. He’s played by Anson Boon, by far the youngest member of MobLand‘s main cast.

Eddie is a cocaine-snorting wildcard who acts as if he’s invincible due to a lifetime of privilege, and never seems to face the consequences of his actions, thanks to the work of his family’s fixer, Harry Da Souza, and lawyer O’Hara Delaney. In MobLand‘s first episode, Eddie lies directly to Harry as he tries to fix a problem that Eddie himself created, so it’s clear that there’s a measure of selfishness at Eddie’s core, in addition to his extreme arrogance.

Seraphina Harrigan

Conrad And Priyanka’s Daughter

    &lt;<img src="https://static0.srcdn.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/screenrant-sandbox-2025-03-29t204416-873.jpg?q=49&fit=crop&w=825&dpr=2" />
    </figure>

Seraphina is the loyal daughter of Conrad Harrigan, but she is not the daughter of Maeve Harrigan. Portrayed by Mandeep Dhillon, when she first arrives at the family home at the end of MobLand episode 1, Maeve treats her with outright contempt, indicating that she resents her presence.

Her stepmother reacts this way because she was born from an illicit affair Conrad had with Priyanka, her mother, during his marriage to Maeve. She behaves like Conrad’s doting daughter from this point on, yet it’s revealed in season 2 that her loyalties are, in fact, very much split.

Brendan Harrigan

Conrad And Maeve’s Eldest Child

    &lt;<img src="https://static0.srcdn.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/screenrant-sandbox-2025-03-30t015945-680.jpg?q=49&fit=crop&w=825&dpr=2" />
    </figure>

Brendan Harrigan (Daniel Betts) is the oldest son of Conrad and Maeve, making him the brother of Kevin and half-brother of Seraphina and Eddie. While Brendan is not as significant a player in the family business, as the eldest child of Conrad and Maeve it stands to reason that he would be next in line to oversee the family should something happen to his parents, and should he manage to outlive them.

Priyanka Gibber

Seraphina’s Mother And Conrad’s Former Lover

    &lt;<img src="https://static0.srcdn.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/11/ko-l-purie-rinchet-as-priyanka-in-mobland-1.jpg?q=49&fit=crop&w=825&dpr=2" />
    </figure>

Priyanka enters the lives of the Harrigans when Seraphina suggests the family flee to Mallorca, where they are reluctantly hosted in the luxury resort of Charlton Gibber, Priyanka’s husband. She gave birth to Seraphina following an extramarital affair with Conrad, which explains the extreme tension between her and Conrad’s wife, Maeve.

Gina Da Souza

Harry’s Daughter And Eddie’s Girlfriend

    &lt;<img src="https://static0.srcdn.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/screenrant-sandbox-2025-05-05t233425-006.jpg?q=49&fit=crop&w=825&dpr=2" />
    </figure>

Gina is the daughter of Harry and Jan, and she greatly resents her father’s work for the Harrigan family. At the same time, it’s because of this work that she meets and falls for Eddie Harrigan, the son of her father’s boss, Conrad. With Maeve’s interference, however, there’s every chance that their relationship could end in disaster.

Paul O’Donnell

Head Of The Harrigan Family’s Security

    &lt;<img src="https://static0.srcdn.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/screenrant-sandbox-2025-05-28t230343-400.jpg?q=49&fit=crop&w=825&dpr=2" />
    </figure>

The main enforcer and bodyguard of the Harrigan family, Paul O’Donnell is bound to his ruthless work by extreme loyalty. Yet, Emmett J. Scanlan’s character often finds himself caught in the middle between Conrad and Maeve, when he identifies more with fixer Harry Da Souza. If the Harrigan family continues to tear itself apart, it will be especially interesting to see whose see Paul ultimately chooses.

Harry Da Souza

The Harrigan Family’s Professional Fixer

    &lt;<img src="https://static0.srcdn.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/screenrant-sandbox-2025-03-30t020410-695.jpg?q=49&fit=crop&w=825&dpr=2" />
    </figure>

While Harry Da Souza is not a Harrigan by blood, he is just as close to Conrad (if not closer) than his own sons. Played by Tom Hardy in his long-awaited first collaboration Guy Ritchie, Harry acts as the family’s “fixer”, in that he solves any and all problems that arise for all members of the family, personal or professional. He acts as the family’s protector, and thanks to an elaborate web of connections that he’s woven through the infrastructure of London, Harry is able to remedy most situations with a few phone calls and some light detective work.

He’s also a husband and father, to Jan and Gina Da Souza respectively. It’s because of Harry that Gina gets mixed up with the Harrigans, when she starts a relationship with Conrad and Bella’s son, Eddie Harrigan. What’s more, his crimes push Jan to split up with him at the end of MobLand season 1, when things take an especially ugly turn.

Harry ultimately acts as the right hand of Conrad, and executes his will in the Harrigans’ criminal enterprise. When a sitdown is required with Richie Stevenson, for example, Harry is the one that Conrad sends. He may not be a Harrigan, but Harry feels like the son that Conrad always wanted, as he is far more ruthless and intelligent than any of his actual sons. But Harry sometimes feels taken for granted by his adopted family on MobLand, particularly when his work takes its toll on his own marriage.
