Reverend Father Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAUM), has opened applications for certificate courses under its Centre for Continuing Education for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The forms cover part-time certificate courses in security, forensic studies, intelligence, detective studies, peace, reconciliation, and related areas.
Available MOAUM Certificate Courses
MOAUM listed four certificate course routes for the 2025/2026 session.
Each course runs through the Centre for Continuing Education, and candidates must obtain and process the form at the CCE.
Proficiency Certificate Course
The Proficiency Certificate Course offers a Proficiency Certificate in Security and Forensic Studies.
Applicants must have at least four credit passes in SSCE, WAEC, Trade Test, or NABTEB examinations; serving military and paramilitary officers with the required qualifications can also apply.
The programme runs part-time for two semesters.
Basic Certificate Course
The Basic Certificate Course offers a Certificate in Basic Intelligence and Detective Studies.
Applicants must have any of these qualifications:
Higher qualifications in any field count as an added advantage, while serving military and paramilitary officers with the required qualifications can also seek admission.
The programme runs part-time for two semesters, covering six months.
Advanced Professional Course in Security and Forensic Studies
The Advanced Professional Course offers several study options.
- Medical Forensic Studies
- Investigation and Intelligence Forensic Studies
- Accounting and Auditing Forensic Studies
- Cyber Security and Forensic Studies
- Legal and Litigation Forensic Studies
Applicants may hold RN, OND, NCE, HND, or a Bachelor’s Degree.
Membership or Fellowship of recognised professional bodies counts as an added advantage; serving military and paramilitary officers with the required qualifications are also eligible.
The course runs part-time for two semesters, which is six months.
Executive Managerial Course in Peace, Reconciliation and Security Studies
The Executive Managerial Course covers Peace, Reconciliation and Security Studies.
Applicants must have any of the following:
- OND
- NCE
- HND
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Advanced Professional Course Certificate
- Equivalent qualifications from recognised professional bodies
Security management experts are also eligible for admission.
The programme runs part-time for two semesters, lasting six months.

Candidates must obtain and process their admission forms at the Centre for Continuing Education.

Application forms will be available from Monday, 5 May 2026.
The closing date is Friday, 30 May 2026; candidates who plan to apply should visit the CCE within this period.
