Mo Salah's jaw-dropping contract offer: He will make six times more than at Liverpool

The Egyptian King, 33, has reached an agreement to rip up his £400k per week contract one year early. Salah fell out with former Liverpool head coach Arne Slot during the 2025/26 season – and will now become a free agent.

The left-footed forward’s contract officially expires on June 30 – and he will be able to pick his next destination.

There is interest in Salah from teams in Italy – with Roma and Juventus both thought to be ready to offer the two-time African footballer of the year a landing spot in Serie A.

Fenerbahce have also been listed as suitors – as have MLS side San Diego FC.

Al-Ittihad’s offer to Salah

But the most likely spot that Salah will end up has always been the Saudi Pro League. As far back as 2023 teams in the SPL have been seeking a deal for Salah – with Liverpool rejecting a £150m bid from Al-Ittihad.

The interest has never gone away – and the likes of Al-Ittihad, Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal have all been named as potential suitors ahead of Salah’s next move.

In a report on the Ahmed Mubarak YouTube channel the jaw-dropping offer on the table for Salah from Al-Ittihad has now been revealed.

According to the report the PIF-operated outfit will put forward a deal worth a staggering £65 MILLION net per year for Salah over the course of a three-year deal.

Salah will make six times more at Al-Ittihad than at Liverpool

That means that the forward stands to rake in £195m in salary before bonuses are factored in.

“Al‑Ittihad have reportedly put forward the highest number on paper, with reports of an offer worth £65 million net per year over three years — that is £195 million in guaranteed basic salary, without counting sponsorship income, image‑rights money or commercial bonuses,” the report reads.

Given his Liverpool contract was giving him around £20m gross per annum he will be taking home between five and six times his net Anfield salary in Saudi Arabia.

Salah could even out-earn Ronaldo

The report even claims that Salah’s top-ups will take him beyond the money that Cristiano Ronaldo is making at Al-Nassr.

The Portugal legend, 41, is reported to be making around £266m per year for his club – meaning Salah’s bonuses would be worth around £200m over and above his salary deal.

“That figure would officially surpass Cristiano Ronaldo’s total package at Al‑Nassr if you add all the components,” the report reads.
